Animals we met in Astrakhan, Russia.

Hi, friends, animal lovers.

If you read some of my previous posts, you know, that, when I was pregnant with my 1st child, me and my partner went holidays to Russia. It was true adventure, and some day I will tell you more about it, but today I want to share with you pictures of animals we met on the way. Do not worry about that lobster fella, he went his own way after that photo was taken. Unfortunately we only can guess faith of those piggies and hens, as this photo was taken in the small farm in South of Astrakhan, where people produce all their own food- all veggies, fruits- grapes, apricots, watermelons, apples, pears, berries, plums (you name it- they grow it! ) and you know why those animals are there for…

Oh and that German Shepherd dog had such a happy face, riding in the back of pick up truck, I was so disappointed for not capturing his jolly expression, but the truck just sped by.. Gosh, one must be really brave to drive in Russia!

We met those two skinny dogs outside the restaurant of some sort, I only guess they were homeless dogs, as you can see they are very skinny, but too eager to make friends with my boyfriend.

I know, I am just rambling here, but the truth is-  It does not matter where those animals live, they all need and want the same, simple things in life- care, food, freedom, affection (love? ).

Come back soon to check out my other posts about our holidays in Russia.

Cheers.

Toni.
